About me
I am a criminalistics subject matter expert with 16 years of experience as a criminalist with the California Department of Justice. I was certified in Comprehensive Criminalistics by the American Board of Criminalistics and have expertise in crime scene and evidence collection, biology/DNA analysis, forensic firearms analysis, blood and breath alcohol analysis, controlled substance analysis, and forensic laboratory quality audits. I assist attorneys by conducting a comprehensive review of criminal cases to help ensure that evidence was collected, examined, reported on, and testified to appropriately. I can help the attorneys and clients understand the evidence analysis findings, their significance, and limitations. I offer opinion testimony as needed by the defense team.
I am also a licensed private investigator in Arizona and the co-owner of Analytic Investigations where I work with my husband who is a law enforcement procedures expert and licensed private investigator.
