Elizabeth has practiced for 14 years, beginning as a prosecutor and now serving as the lead misdemeanor attorney at a defense firm. She has worked extensively in mental health treatment courts and is committed to advocating for vulnerable populations.
Outside the courtroom, Elizabeth is a dedicated Vipassana practitioner and attends annual 10-day silent retreats. She uses mindfulness in her legal work to bring greater focus, calm, and compassion to client advocacy.
An avid gardener, Elizabeth transformed her property into a dense food forest caring for chickens and over 70 fruit and native trees (including banana, mango, apple, pear, figs, citrus, pomegranate, guava, mulberry, and stone fruits).
