About me
Jennifer Y. Garcia is an Assistant Federal Public Defender in the Capital Habeas Unit of the Federal Public Defender for the District of Arizona. She has been an attorney with that office since 2004, and also worked in the office as a legal clerk while attending law school. After graduating from the Arizona State University College of Law in 2002, she spent two years as a judicial clerk for the Honorable G. Murray Snow before returning to the Federal Public Defender’s Office as an attorney. She has regularly served as faculty for both local and national training seminars on a variety of topics and also served as an adjunct legal-writing professor with the University of Arizona’s law school.
